Our Review of the Cascade Equinox Festival in 2025

A member of our team and her friend had the opportunity of attending the Cascade Equinox Festival in Redmond this year. This is her review!

Cascade Equinox felt like the kind of festival Central Oregon does best. Easy pace. Friendly crowd. Beautiful setting. Nothing felt like a chore, which is rare for a festival day.

Getting in and around was simple. Parking was close, bathrooms were easy to spot and vendors were placed where you actually needed them. It took almost no effort to move between a stage, a snack and a quick water (or cocktail) refill.

Can you tell we are over 30? Talking about parking and bathrooms before the actual music. The lineup was amazing!!! So many artists that we’ve been wanting to see and they were all there in one place. Big Gigantic, Disclosure, Mersiv, Troyboi, Sylan Esso the list goes on!

The music setup had range. Outdoor stages opened to skyline and mountain views, while indoor rooms and DJ booths gave you different energy when you wanted it. The art displays and the roller rink were fun little detours. Sets felt close and personal without feeling cramped.

There were places to actually chill. We found couches, mats, and hammocks tucked throughout the grounds, so you could sit down for ten minutes and reset instead of standing in a dusty walkway. It made the day feel long in a good way.

Food was a highlight. Local trucks showed up with real options, not just filler, and lines moved. Eating good food while watching the light shift over the grounds is the kind of moment that makes this festival feel local.

The vendor area was worth a real lap. Lots of maker booths and festival merch, but with that Central Oregon touch where it feels more like a community market than a row of upsells.

If you like festivals that are easy to navigate, welcoming for families, and built around the landscape, this one delivers. We left relaxed, well fed, and already talking about next year.
